IDC/ASIA House is situated on the grounds of Dzamling Gar in Tenerife - Spain, the International retreat centre of the International Dzogchen Community., and is located just next to the newly opened Gonpa. IDC/ASIA House provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for practitioners to stay while in Dzamling Gar for teaching retreats, personal retreats or just a relaxing holiday.

Each of 4 apartments has it’s own guardian. These four animals are seen in the corners of many Tibetan prayer flags. Known collectively as "The Four Dignities," they represent sacred qualities and attitudes that Bodhisattvas develop on the path to enlightenment; qualities such as confidence (Tiger), clear awareness (Snow Lion), fearlessness (Garuda), and gentle power (Dragon).

On the top floor, we can offer a private STUDIO for the price of a room. You can enjoy your solitude at the highest residential point in DZG. Ideal for short term single accommodation, personal retreats. Huge terrace provides o lot of space for any practices and activities.

All donations go to the International Dzogchen Community to facilitate the House running costs and building maintenance. The apartments offers privacy in beautiful and serene surroundings. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen, dining area, spacious bathroom and a laundry machine, facilities that will ensure your stay is a comfortable and enjoyable one. The open plan apartment opens out to a large spacious patio area, suitable for relaxing and enjoying alfresco dining or simply sitting and soaking up the peace and serenity around you.

We have two types of apartments:

  • Queen size (180 cm) bed accommodates 1 person or a couple
  • Double bed (140 cm) with a sofa bed in the living room accommodates up to 4 person

 

Studio is equipped with a comfortable sofa-bed ( unfolded 140 *200 cm), working space, kitchen, bathroom with shower, bedding and linen.
