Welcome to Dzamling Gar!

Dzamling Gar is a large piece of land in the south of the beautiful island of Tenerife, one of the main Canary islands, with privileged climate and location. It has been identified by the Dzogchen Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, as an ideal place for the diffusion and practice of the precious Dzogchen teachings.

The land of Dzamling Gar has been bought in December 2012, with several unfinished buildings, and the construction works have began in June 2013. The intention for Dzamling Gar is to manifest our Chögyal Namkhai Norbu's dream of a Global Gar as a place where the whole Dzogchen Community can meet and collaborate together.

The Global Gar will be a center of study and practice for the worldwide Dzogchen Community and a place to develop presence awareness on behalf of the wellbeing of all sentient beings.
